Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ambi (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Ambi is a personal AI assistant that runs on your iOS device. It uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models and, optionally, third-party cloud AI models to generate responses to your queries.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Ambi is an AI assistant and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. You acknowledge and agree that:

Responses generated by Ambi are not professional advice of any kind
Ambi does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, therapeutic, investment, or any other form of professional advice
You should always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information provided by Ambi
AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information
You are solely responsible for how you use information provided by Ambi

Do not rely on Ambi for:

Medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or health decisions
Legal advice or interpretation of laws and regulations
Financial, investment, or tax planning decisions
Emergency situations — always call emergency services (911) for emergencies
Any decision where inaccurate information could cause harm

Cloud Model Usage

If you choose to use cloud AI models:

You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own API keys
Your use of cloud providers is subject to their respective terms of service
You are responsible for any costs incurred through your API key usage
Ambi is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of cloud AI providers

Intellectual Property

Ambi and its original content are owned by the developer
AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use
You retain ownership of any content you input into the App

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI responses will be accurate
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App
We are not liable for any actions you take based on AI-generated content

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
Not use the App to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code
Not use the App in any way that could harm others

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how data is handled on your device.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
